Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there are a number of specific visiting rules that remain in place at Medway Maritime Hospital.

Please note that large groups of visitors are not allowed.

For the majority of our wards, a maximum of two visitors are allowed (each person to visit separately), however you are encouraged to check with the ward or department caring for the patient if you have any queries.

You should also visit our website here for specific information on the visiting arrangements in place for each ward and department.

To ensure that we protect our patients, as well as visitors and staff, from the ongoing risks of COVID-19, appropriate infection prevention and control measures will remain in place for the immediate future.

Please continue to observe these measures while you are on our site. These include:

  • Wearing a mask while you are with us
  • Keeping social distancing with other people
  • Washing your hands regularly, or using hand gel
  • Walking on the left side of the corridor
  • Not entering the hospital if you have COVID-19 symptoms, unless you require medical care.

Thank you for your cooperation.
