Health during early pregnancy

Taking care of yourself in pregnancy is now paramount for your own health and that of your baby. For some this will only mean a few changes to lifestyle and diet and for others this will mean having to make big changes. It is important to remember that your midwife can support you all the way and can make any appropriate referrals.

There are several things you should pay particular attention to during your early pregnancy including diet, exercise and working, medicines and therapies and smoking and alcohol consumption.
