Recruitment of International Nurses

I would like to submit an FOI request, regarding your hiring of international nurses, for the financial years of 2022 and 2023. I am particularly interested in:

1. What were the top five countries that nurses were recruited from (or if no active recruitment occurred, where were top organic applicants from)? Nigeria, Kenya, Nepal, Pakistan and Ghana
2. What were the reasons for recruiting from these countries (e.g., bilateral agreements, historical links, recommendations, other considerations) Nurses met qualifications required
3. Has the Trust received guidance or recommendations from a recruitment agency regarding preferred source countries for international nurse recruitment? If so, what factors were cited in these recommendations? No – Agencies weren’t used for these recruits

If the Trust has any policies/ recruitment agency-provided materials, guidance notes, or protocols they have received/utilised, this would be greatly received.  N/A
