The information you have requested is as follows:
Would you kindly send me the role, band (and JD if available) for the person who is responsible for insurance within your organisation (this could include buildings, contents, directors and officers, motor, products and public, cyber etc and would also include the annual renewals process for obtaining quotations from insurers via your brokers.
There is no central job role for insurance in the Trust, the relevant area would deal with their own insurance. For example, the Company Secretary deals with Trust insurance, however, fleet motor insurance is dealt with by the Estates & Facilities Division and our IT Division advise that we don’t have cyber insurance nor do we have any plans to obtain it.
We can provide the job description for the post of Company Secretary, however, there is just one sentence pertaining to insurance under key responsibilities: Ensure appropriate and sufficient insurance policies are maintained by the Trust.
