Usage of somatropins

I am researching the usage of somatropins within the NHS, and would greatly appreciate if you could answer the questions below:

Q1. How many patients have you treated in the last 12 months with the following drugs? Genotropin, Humatrope, Norditropin, Nutropin, Omnitrope, Saizen, Zomacton, Any other Somatropin (please specify)

Please see below data held for the reporting period June 2021 to May 2022.

Medway NHS Foundation Trust are unable to confirm the exact number where fewer than 5 are recorded as, given the low numbers, disclosure of this information could lead to the individuals being identified. We therefore judge that the disclosure of such information, which constitutes personal data, would contravene one of the data protection principles. In such circumstances, Section 40 (2) and (3) – Personal Information of a third person of the FOIA applies. In this case, our view is that disclosure would breach the first data protection principle. This states that personal data should be processed fairly and lawfully. It is the fairness aspect of this principle, which in our view, would be breached by disclosure.

The Trust can confirm that no patients under the age of 16 were treated with the above drugs during the reporting period June 2021 to May 2022.
