Chaired by Trust Chair John Goulston, the meeting included a report of the year and forward-look from Interim Chief Executive Siobhan Callanan, a summary of the 2025/26 Annual Accounts presented by Interim Chief Finance Officer Rob Clarke, and an update from Lead Governor Tina Rowe.
Key messages focused on improvements seen over the last year, particularly in waiting times for planned operations, tests and scans and cancer care. Priorities for 2026/7 were shared which include improving our challenging financial position, continuing progress made to transform our culture, and working more closely with partners to provide efficient, joined-up care across the system.
Also at the meeting, proposed changes to the Trust Constitution to extend the maximum term for Governors from two consecutive three-year terms (total of six years) to three terms (nine years) were largely supported by members present.
