Great British Bake Off finalist Jane Beedle will be the star guest at Medway Maritime Hospital’s Easter Fair this Friday (1 April 2022).

Jane, who appeared on the BBC programme back in 2016, will choose the winner of the Bake Off competition when judging takes place at 11.30am on the green outside the Education Centre.

‘Eggcellent’ creations, from cute bunny biscuits, mini egg inspired chocolate brownies or Easter themed cakes, can be submitted up until just before 11am on Friday 1 April. Simply drop them off to the charity team who will be based in the Bake Off tent, which will be open from 8.30am.

The competition coincides with the Easter Fair, which is free to attend and is being held at the same location between 11am and 2pm on the same day.

Visitors will also be able to browse a selection of stalls selling knitted items, cakes, refreshments and gifts. There’ll also be a raffle for the chance to win some great prizes such as an iPad, an afternoon tea for two at Tick Tocks in Rainham and a hamper filled with toys.

All proceeds raised on the day will support the work of The Medway Hospital Charity, which funds projects to improve the patient experience.
