Medway Maritime Hospital’s Summer Fun Day returns on Thursday 31 July to help raise awareness and funds for the hospital charities, The Medway Hospital Charity, The Medway League of Friends, and The Oliver Fisher Special Care Baby Trust.
Due to bad weather, the event will now take place in the main entrance of the hospital, having moved from the Education Centre green opposite the Emergency Department.
It runs from 11am to 2pm and is open to visitors, patients, and staff, offering a range of fun activities for all ages.
Enjoy music from Hospital Radio Medway, live entertainment by All Star Performers, face painting, and fun games hosted by Gillingham Girlguiding and our Research and Innovation Team.
Plus, there’s a pre-loved toy and bric-a-brac sale, a delicious cake sale, a kids’ colouring station, and opportunities to meet and learn more about some of the teams working in the hospital.
Visitors are encouraged to bring plenty of change for donation buckets and stalls, as not all stallholders will have card machines.
