Congratulations to colleagues from Medway NHS Foundation Trust who took part in the 2025 London Marathon raising money for two fantastic causes. This included:

Sarah Haddock, Therapy Assistant Practitioner, Charlotte Flannery, Matron for Surgical Services, and Kirsty Reach, Clinical Support Worker.
Sarah, Charlotte and Kirsty ran in support of Spinal Research, four years after Sarah’s husband was paralysed from the neck down following an accident while on holiday.
By completing the race dressed as a fish, in under eight hours, Sarah managed to set a Guinness World Record, with the team raising close to £9,000 between them.

Kim Willoughby, Clinical Sister, ICU
Kim ran for the Astro Brain Tumour Fund, in support of her sister-in-law who is currently battling a brain tumour. Kimmy raised more than £3,000, and has thanked her “critical care colleagues and friends for their support and kind donations.”
