New service to drop off patient belongings

We have launched a new service to help our patients receive belongings from their loved ones while they are staying at Medway Maritime Hospital.

The new drop off service is being facilitated by our reception team as follows:

  • Monday to Thursday, 9am to 12pm and 4pm to 7pm
  • Friday, 12pm to 3pm and 5pm to 8pm
  • Saturday 10am to 2pm

Family members can drop off one bag of belongings, to reception, via the front of the entrance of the hospital.

All items should arrive in a sealed bag/ruck sack and must be wiped down before delivery.

Please note that due to infection control risks, only essential items should be delivered, such as a change of clothes, glasses, a small number bathroom essentials, and one small comforting personal item, for example a photo or book.
