Have you or a loved one received outstanding care or treatment from someone working at Medway Maritime Hospital in the last 12 months?

If the answer is yes, then Medway NHS Foundation Trust wants to hear from you.

As part of the Trust’s annual staff awards, members of the public are being given the chance to nominate someone for a Hospital Hero Award.

If you feel you have had exceptionally good treatment from any member of staff across the Trust, let us know.

The winner, who will be chosen from a judging panel made up of the Trust’s Executive Team, will be presented with an award during a special awards ceremony in the New Year.

Jayne Black, the Trust’s Chief Executive said: “If you know somebody who deserves to be a hospital hero, I encourage you to take the time to nominate them.

“The awards are a fantastic way to recognise and thank our staff for their dedication, hard work and compassion over the last 12 months.

“It has been a challenging time but they have remained focused on providing the highest levels of care to our community.”

If you know somebody who has done something extraordinary, or made a real difference to your life, or a friend or family member’s life, then please send your nomination by email to communications.medwayft@nhs.net or you can complete the form below.

Your nomination must include the person’s name, the department they work in, plus a short description (no more than 500 words) about why they deserve the award.

The closing date to submit your nomination is Sunday 11 December 2022.

Submit your nomination below!

*We will only use your details to contact you should we need more information about your nomination.
