Neurology is the branch of medicine that deals with disorders of the nervous system including the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves and muscles.
Examples of neurological conditions include:
- Epilepsy
- Movement disorders including Parkinsons disease
- Headaches
- Peripheral Neuropathies
- Muscle diseases
- Myaesthenia gravis
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Neuropathic pain
- Motor Neurone disease
Our neurology service supports patients with long term neurological conditions, working closely with the voluntary sector and other agencies to enhance care.
Services include treatment for:

- NCS and EMG
- Radiology services
Our specialist nurses and consultant neurologists have a long-established working relationship with King’s College Hospital, providing our patients with high quality care including neurological investigation, neuro-radiology advice and a full neurosurgical service including inpatient care.
