X-Ray - plain film
Plain film x-rays are commonly used and uses a small dose of radiation to produce an image of the inside of the body. Within the plain film x-ray we cover patients from many referral pathways such as A&E patients, GP walk-in patients, clinic patients and dental patients.
Our A&E x-ray is open 24 hours a day and liaises with the Emergency Department for diagnoses. At Medway Maritime Hospital site we offer a walk-in service for plain film. Please be advised that we are uncertain of the wait times for this area on a day to day basis but it will be displayed when you arrive.
