Medway NHS Volunteers

The Voluntary Services department is responsible for the recruitment, selection, training and management of volunteers at Medway NHS Foundation Trust.  Volunteers give their time and support in order to enhance the quality of life for our patients and visitors whilst also supporting our members of staff.

Volunteers offer their time in a variety of roles including:

  • Wards
  • Reception areas and guiding
  • Administration and clerical roles
  • Chaplaincy
  • Gardening
  • Therapy dogs
  • Dementia Buddies.
