Congratulations! You're pregnant...
Once you have confirmed your pregnancy with a pregnancy test, we recommend that you self-refer to the maternity services and see a community midwife for your booking appointment. This appointment should take place between 8 and 10 weeks of pregnancy.
You can refer yourself to deliver your baby at Medway Maritime Hospital by completing our online self referral form now
You will be asked for an email address through which a link to our online maternity notes can be reached. These will come with full instructions and a health and wellbeing questionnaire which we ask that you complete as fully as possible prior to your first appointment with your Midwife.
Please note: If you are using a Hotmail email account, please ensure you add phr.euroking@nhs.net to your safe mailing list to prevent any delays in receiving your validation email.
Once you have registered and verified your PHR account you can access it at any time via this link: https://phr.medway.nhs.uk
For more information, please take a look at this guide: Viewing your online Patient Health Record (PHR)
It is recommended that pregnant women or those trying to get pregnant take supplements and avoid some foods and alcohol.
